‘EPICHIROUME EXO’ 50% subsidy – Expected within October

The ‘Epichiroume Exo’ programme, which is expected to be announced shortly, will finance the participation of enterprises in international trade fairs and other means of promoting their products in international markets. The available budget amounts to EUR 30,000,000 in total (public expenditure).

ACTION BENEFICIARIES

The aid beneficiaries will be micro-, small and medium-sized processing industries that engage or intend to engage in exporting activities and are active in the following sectors:

– Manufacture of food products
– Manufacture of beverages
– Manufacture of textiles
– Manufacture of wearing apparel
– Manufacture of leather and related products
– Manufacture of wood and of products of wood and cork, except furniture; manufacture of articles of straw and plaiting materials
– Manufacture of paper and paper products
– Printing and reproduction of recorded media
– Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products
– Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products
– Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations
– Manufacture of rubber and plastic products
– Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products
– Manufacture of basic metals
– Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment
– Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products
– Manufacture of electrical equipment
– Manufacture of electrical machinery and equipment n.e.c
– Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailer
– Manufacture of other transport equipment
– Manufacture of furniture
– Other manufacturing

ELIGIBLE EXPENDITURES

The starting date of expenditure eligibility will be the date of electronic submission of the funding application. Eligible expenditures will be the costs relating to the participation of beneficiaries in trade fairs and business delegations.

The participation must concern:

either the promotion of the enterprise’s existing products in new markets,
or the promotion of the enterprise’s new products in markets where it is already active.
In this context, the following expenditures are eligible:

A. Participation in Trade Fairs beyond the borders of Greece:

Participation cost
Travel and accommodation expenses for the business representatives participating in each trade fair
Rental of stands, cost for stand construction and furnishing-equipment
Exhibit dispatch and return costs
Interpretation – secretarial support
Other fair-related expenditures
B. Participation in Business Delegations abroad:

Participation/registration cost
Travel and accommodation expenses for the business representative participating in the business delegation
Cost for the rental of the premises where business meetings will be held
Cost for the presentation of the company and the organisation of personalised B2B meetings
Interpretation – secretarial support
Sample transport costs
Other delegation-related expenditures (if not included in the organisational cost of participation)
